is performing on Thursday the 5th of September
at the Independent Amchair Theatre
135 Lower Main Road, Observatory, Cape Town.

The gig last month was a big jol, and they want us back!

In the meantime, we've added another 2 African Jazz pieces to the repertoire.

There's a tune called "Salt & Vinegar", composed by band-leader Jannie "Hanepoot" van Tonder, and we've been working hard on an arrangement of a Hugh Masakela tune off the seminal LP "Union of South Africa", called "Shebeen".

The African tunes have treated us well, so we're happy to learn more of them -- they allow us to do some impromptu arrangements, with lots of room for the guys to play improvised solos over relatively simple changes. It keeps the adrenalin flowing as nobody quite knows what's going to happen next!

The gig will start at 21h30, consist of 2 sets and continue till about 23h30.

There will be a couvert charge of R15.

See you there!.
