will be opening the evening's music at the St. Luke's Hospice Fete this Friday, the 18th at Rondebosch Park, corner of Campground & Sandown Rd.
We'll be playing a set of South African standards and originals, starting at 19h00, and play for about 40 minutes. To bolster the sax section at this performance, David Poole (on loan from Breakfast Included) will be sitting in, making a long overdue guest appearance with the Biggish Band. Dave used to come help us out in the early days when we were struggling to find musicians, so we're very happy to have him, this time in the spotlight ...
We will be followed by Phambili Marimba & Brass Ensemble and later the band Indigo. There will be plenty to eat & drink, so bring the family and have supper and Jazz in the Park!
